Standing at the end of August

Looking back on these sweet summer days, spent among friends —some new, others practically family, many of them bators— I recall moments of laughter, and some of doubt; of holding and being held; of gooning together until our edges melted, then later the tender comedowns. 

I remember meals and discussions, the baring of our souls, the warmth, the tenderness and acting stupid by the pool. Community is built slowly, by sharing moments and one another. By choosing to spend time together. By finding those who understand you, and being open to understanding them in turn.

There’s some really cool initiatives in the works for the upcoming months.
But for now, let’s get to the September events!

We start the month with the very first Berlin Bators!
It’s happening Saturday, September 5th. Very excited about this one. 
Tickets are already sold out, but if you’re interested in future ones sign up to their mailing list.

London. Bator Bro is holding its main event, Bator Haus, on Sunday, September 20th. They’ve also announced a new format, BatorCamp, a long weekend getaway to Sitges, Spain from October 1st – 4th. 

Batescapes is holding their first-year-anniversary event, Arabian Autumn Edition on September 27th. If you’re into videogames and art, def check it out.

Barcelona. We’re holding our next Copes i Bastos on September 26th!  Featuring the best bate party poster ever made —sorry, I’m obsessed— by the hand of GerART.

Paris. Starts with their Apéro Poto social on September 9th. Paris Jacks is holding their cozier Sunday event on September 13th at Redzone, and their Wednesday afterwork event on September 30th at Secteur X.

Belfast. Belfast Bators are next meeting Saturday, September 19th.

Manchester. Manchester Jacks is usually the last Sunday of each month. Reach out to @Ulysees61 on Telegram if you’re interested.

Milan. Qua La Mano will be back in September. Date will be announced soon, join their mailing list if you’re interested in going. 

As for weekly jack-off clubs, Amsterdam has Willy Wankers every friday at Free Willie, London has LJOC every Monday at Bunker Bar. Madrid has Pajas Entre Colegas a couple times a week, but I don’t know much about that one. Barcelona has BudoBator semi-weekly, you can contact @BudoBator on Telegram.
