The Welcome Rag launches today
The guys and I have lots of conversations around everything bator these days – who’s bating where and when, incredible experiences and guys we’ve connected with at a party, something we learned about someone’s dick at dinner, hilarious kink experiences, and the odd batecation planning (I’ve been to Sitges every month this spring and summer – not that I’m complaining). But these conversations never become a history, written or oral or otherwise. Experiential, but ephemeral.
Some of you already know me as the guy who created Strokinut Oil, whether in brand or in actually mixing and melting like a witch at a backlit cauldron, scaly fingers pinching out an extra gram of eye of newt. Or, some of you might know me as fiveon1 online (available at a store near you), or maybe you’ve met the person at a market or event. Whichever way it happened, you’ve found your way here to this new place. Welcome.
What is though, that you’re being welcomed into? Well, we’ve kind of been establishing a novel way to approach other men, through bating as a means of constraint-driven connection. It started in London with Bator Bro – created and led by Nick Woof, and executed month after month for nearly three years with the invaluable help of a dedicated crew of guys who believed in the mission and wanted to do something about it. Now a few years in, we’ve learned a thing or two, and have been passionate about supporting the new parties and events springing up all across Europe. It’s been happening orgnaically, each event beautifully unique in its take and culture.
We’re here to make sure that effort has a history to write and corpus of experience to remember.
Have fun reading the Welcome Rag.
